Join us in Tombstone, Arizona, for Ed Schieffelin Days, starting at 8:00 AM, April 5th, 2025, and experience the excitement of our featured event: The Donkey Dash! This one-of-a-kind spectacle brings donkeys and their human trainers together for a race through the scenic desert, celebrating the mining roots of Tombstone with plenty of laughs and spirited competition.

Cheer on participants as they take on three thrilling courses: a 3-mile dash for speedsters, a 6-mile trek for the bold, and a 13-mile endurance challenge for the most adventurous teams. Watching the donkeys line up at the starting gate is pure fun, but the real magic happens when you cheer for the determined finishers crossing the line.

The Donkey Dash is just the beginning of an unforgettable weekend. Enjoy a drilling competition, a mucking competition, mine tours, live music, delicious food, and so much more. Children can enjoy a pie-eating contest, "Donkey Noodle Races," gold-panning, and mining gems out of the Lil Buckaroo Mine. There's something for everyone at Ed Schieffelin Days.
